Become a Homeowner from the Comfort of Your Couch

HOPE partners with Framework to offer first-time homebuyer education from the comfort of your home. Please click on the image below to sign-up and register for this class today. The cost is $75 and you will have to follow-up with your HOPE counselor after you have completed the course in order to receive your certificate.

Live the Dream

HOPE offers education and assistance to help you towards home ownership.

Our pre-purchase education course is called Live the Dream and is designed primarily for individuals or households who can generally meet the requirements of a local lender for a mortgage loan. That class, which usually meets one night a week for 3 weeks, covers the basics of the entire home purchase and ownership experience giving you the confidence and skills to become a well-educated consumer in the real estate market.

Graduates of the Live the Dream course, if eligible, may qualify for substantial down payment assistance grants to help them obtain an affordable mortgage. Some of our partner lenders may also provide special financing arrangements or additional assistance. Even help with closing costs is sometimes available; however none of these grants are automatic or guaranteed.

Our homebuyer education classes are scheduled in the evenings. Sometimes our clients have scheduling conflicts and are unable to attend these evening classes. Our Counselors can work out day sessions with these clients so that they may be able to get the homebuyer education they need to continue the purchasing process of their home.

The class costs $80 and can be paid online via our website or on the day of class via cash or check.
